12 days in Feb - trying to fit south coast + hills + one safari. Am I cramming?

Not cramming - that's actually a classic itinerary. Rough plan: Colombo 1 night arrival, drive to Sigiriya (2 nights) if you want culture, else skip to Ella (2 nights), then Yala (2 nights, 1 safari), then south coast (Mirissa or Tangalle, 4 nights), Colombo 1 night departure. If you skip culture triangle you have 5 nights on the beach which is heaven. Feb is peak dry season, perfect weather.
Ok this makes me feel better. Was googling '10 day itinerary' and everyone says slow down. But 12 sounds good. Thanks.
You could actually add more. 12 days is generous. Consider adding 1 night Kandy on the way to Ella - the train ride Kandy to Ella is a highlight in itself. Don't waste time in Colombo though. 1 arrival night is enough.
