The Demodara railway loop is absolutely worth seeing. It is an incredible piece of colonial engineering where the track spirals entirely underneath itself. Viewing it from the lookout point above the tunnel is the best way to grasp its scale.

Riding the train through the loop is also fun, but you cannot really see the spiral shape while you are inside the carriage. Hiking to the viewpoint above the station gives you the perfect photograph.
