27 Aug, Dalada Veediya, with a reserved seat we might miss. Notes thin. Queue at opening. Card works at the guesthouse. Need a local, not a brochure. If the festival continues to 28th Diya/Dahawal, do not pack us like it ends on the kerb tonight.

Walk to the next machine. Queues are not a cash shutdown. I will not invent a Kandy-wide ATM failure. Not a cousin POS. Leopard is not a ticket.

Skip is polite. On 'this ATM on the lake or walk to the next machine' — board, not desk.

We walked. Slow. Shoes muddy. Fine. On 'this ATM on the lake or walk to the next machine' — board, not desk.
