Booked 1st Class "Ella Odyssey" for photos, but the windows don't open?!

This is the most common regret we see! You have to choose between "Comfort" and "Content."

1st Class (Air Conditioned): The windows are sealed glass. You cannot open them. You will be cool and comfortable, but your photos will have glare/reflections, and you can't hang out for the wind-in-hair experience.

The Solution: You don't necessarily need to downgrade. The Ella Odyssey train stops at scenic points (like Nine Arch Bridge) for 5-10 minutes specifically for photos. You can get off the train, take your clear photos, and get back on.

Pro Tip: If you want the "head out the window" video while the train is moving, 2nd Class Reserved is actually better than 1st Class.
