4th Randoli listed 6:44 PM from Cinnamon Citadel side — stand this kerb from four or sit Udawatte Kele and listen from a terrace
26 Aug, Cinnamon Citadel side. Listed start 6:44 PM for the 4th Randoli. Friend with a camera. One pair of sandals and a wrap we may not have. Not trying to invent a reserved street. Trying not to melt from four to midnight.

If you want the elephants, stand a kerb that is actually on the route and arrive before the crush, not at 6:44 on the dot. Listed 6:44 PM is a start, not a seat. Udawatte Kele terrace is a sit if they actually sell one, not a rumour. Do not invent a reserved pavement. Hold your feet, water, a snack, closed shoes. Kids last longer one block back.
We stood Cinnamon Citadel side from 4:30, drums later. Fine. 6:44 was the listed start, not the first thing we saw.
