Hiking Pidurangala for sunrise, do I need a guide?

Planning to hike Pidurangala rock tomorrow at 4 AM. Is the path obvious or do I need to hire a local guide.

You do not need a guide. The path is very obvious until the last 50 meters, which requires a bit of rock scrambling. Bring a headlamp as your phone flashlight is not enough for the rocks in the dark.
