Keep this calendar day honest: Saturday 22 Aug is 5th Kumbal at 6:28 PM. Ordinary hops still exist around it — gardens at opening, ATM at noon, seated trains, bottles, ORS. the Bennet Soysa doorway that a shopkeeper still owns is the night pin if you still go. Do not remix fuel-queue talk or a gazette sheet into a festival-week pavement. Kumbal is a real night, not a failed Randoli. Saturday 22 Aug is the last Kumbal; Randoli nights follow after this. Agree a tuk drop on Peradeniya Road or Katugastota Road, not on Raja Veediya at table time. The grid is cones and shoulders.
