Saturday 22 Aug, Kandy, last Kumbal before Randoli. Listed 6:28 PM. We are toddler whose home bedtime is half-seven. Pin in mind: the Bennet Soysa doorway that a shopkeeper still owns. Kids will not eat another fried plate, what still steams. Street if we can. No municipal ticket I will invent. Water already in the bag.

Buy water before you sit the Bennet Soysa doorway that a shopkeeper still owns. After the cortege, ask for the plate that is still turning. Rice is allowed. Tap stays no. Ice out. Cash notes; card machines pretend. Kumbal is a real night, not a failed Randoli. Saturday 22 Aug is the last Kumbal; Randoli nights follow after this. Then tea, then the room.

Locals stay where they can stand. Pride argues with a pole and then buys a plaster.

We peeled before the return. The crush after the last drummers is when people get stupid. Named the fare.

We named a fare before we sat. Fine. The tour number was a joke.
