Saturday 22 Aug, Kandy, last Kumbal before Randoli. Listed 6:28 PM. We are toddler whose home bedtime is half-seven. Pin in mind: the quiet patch twenty metres after the speaker, still see it. Do not remix fuel-queue talk or a gazette sheet into a pavement. Street if we can. No municipal ticket I will invent. Water already in the bag.

Keep this calendar day honest: Saturday 22 Aug is 5th Kumbal at 6:28 PM. Ordinary hops still exist around it — gardens at opening, ATM at noon, seated trains, bottles, ORS. the quiet patch twenty metres after the speaker, still see it is the night pin if you still go. Do not remix fuel-queue talk or a gazette sheet into a festival-week pavement. Kumbal is a real night, not a failed Randoli. Saturday 22 Aug is the last Kumbal; Randoli nights follow after this. Agree a tuk drop on Peradeniya Road or Katugastota Road, not on Raja Veediya at table time. The grid is cones and shoulders.

Locals stay where they can stand. Pride argues with a pole and then buys a plaster.

We peeled before the return. The crush after the last drummers is when people get stupid. Named the fare.

We named a fare before we sat. Fine. The tour number was a joke.

Gate board. No leopard sentence. The jeep desk can talk. Fine.

Write the board. A Saturday rumour is not a gazette.
