Saturday 22 Aug, Kandy, last Kumbal before Randoli. Listed 6:28 PM. We are bags still at a Peradeniya pin. Pin in mind: the quiet patch twenty metres after the speaker, still see it. Peradeniya stay, tuk to the last drop, walk the rest. Street if we can. No municipal ticket I will invent. Water already in the bag.

Seated later beats a maybe now. Do not invent a line close. Agree a tuk drop on Peradeniya Road or Katugastota Road, not on Raja Veediya at table time. The grid is cones and shoulders. Dump bags, bottles in the bag, walk the last bit to the quiet patch twenty metres after the speaker, still see it. Unreserved standing with hard-shells in festival week is how you hate the hop.
