6 straight days of surf lessons - stupid, or fine? First timer.

Fine if you pace. Beginner day = 1.5-2 hours in the water. That's your body's limit before form breaks down. Anything more = bad habits + fatigue + increased injury risk. Best structure: 6 days of 2-hour lessons = plenty of progress. Between lessons: hydrate, sunscreen (SPF 50 water-resistant, reapply hourly), rashguard (long sleeve). Rest one day mid-week if sore. You'll go from can't-stand-up to catching green waves in 5-6 days. Fair sunburn risk if you skip protection. Sore shoulders/back guaranteed first 3 days, better after. Doable and rewarding.
^ this. Also: after the lesson (usually 8-10am), take a nap or read in the shade until 4pm. Sun 11am-3pm is brutal at that latitude. Then evening swim or explore. Structure protects you from the burnout.
