Dialog provides the best overall 4G mobile coverage across Sri Lanka, especially in remote mountainous areas. Yes, the tourist SIM card packages sold right in the airport arrivals hall are excellent value, incredibly easy to activate, and provide massive amounts of high speed data.

Mobitel is the second best option and has great signal in the cultural triangle, but Dialog is universally trusted by most digital nomads here.
