Elder is cooked. Listing says AC. Jaffna dry-zone night. Pay the extra for a room that actually cools, or a fan and a rest hour because AC is a rumour when the generator dies?

Pay for a room that will show you the AC working before you dump bags. Generator stories are real. A fan plus a rest hour is honest if the extra AC is a sticker on a warm box. Ask what time the generator runs. Water in the room. Pride is not a thermostat.

We paid extra, watched it cool, slept. Worth it after the A9.

Fan room. We arrived early, rested, were fine. Elder still wanted the AC the second night.
