August. Forums show December lights. We are here now. Night climb, or honesty that this is not the season.

August is off-season. Not a closure. Fewer lights, fewer stalls, wetter path after rain, leeches in the trees on damp days. A night climb is still done by people who want it. It is not the season crowd or the season support. If anyone in the group needs stalls and a packed path, skip or wait for season. If you go, torch, jumper, slow, honest legs. Do not invent a closed peak.
