Adam's Peak off-season Monday — start a climb we will hate or skip until a season that makes sense

Group has one 'we should'. It is late August, not season. I do not want a cloud, leeches, and a closed-shop village at 3am. Ordinary bags, not pilgrimage kit.

Skip. Off-season Peak is a wet dark slog with less support. Nobody banned you. Nobody promised a sunrise. Save the legs for Horton or Ella. Do not invent a 'peak closed' — you are just allowed to not go.

If you still go, treat it as a mountain, not a postcard. Lights, food, respect.
