Ada says after Day Perahera the Diyawadana Nilame takes the formal scroll to the President's House and the festival ends after awards. Leave on a night hop tonight, or sleep and go in the morning.

If you already have a night seat and can reach the stand after the crowd thins, leave tonight. If the group is cooked from Final and Day, keep the room and go clean in the morning. Do not invent an earlier official end than the scroll and awards.

We slept. Morning bus was calmer. Night after Day felt like one ask too many.

Only chase a night bus if the ticket is real and the stand is reachable. A rumour seat is not a plan.
