Want an afternoon train toward Colombo. Counter is open. Buy a reserved seat now, or wait and stand if the next one is soon.

Buy now if you have bags or an elder. Afternoon reserved seats go. Standing an afternoon train with cases is a long warm ride. If you are light and the next one is on the board, stand and save.

We reserved. Glad. The unreserved car was packed and the rain started in the doorway.

We stood. Fine for two hours with daypacks. Would not do it with hard cases.
