Friends left Colombo after lunch in a van. Will they still make a 6:53 PM stand if showers and diversions slow the last stretch.

Tell them to aim at the hotel first, not the curb; a van into the inner grid this afternoon sits, and you can walk together once they drop bags.

Ours arrived with an hour to spare once they used Gopallawa and skipped the lake loop. Hotel first was the right call.

If they are late, you walk and they join at the named shop. Do not all wait in the lobby past dressing time.
