Air-dry check on damp standing socks after the nap

One pair of standing socks still feels damp after lunch airing. Worth a quick air-dry check now, or buy a fresh pair before tonight. Not buying standing socks from scratch as the main plan, and not swapping damp socks at a clothing stall as a morning errand.

Check them now after the nap — if they still feel cool-damp, switch to a dry pair rather than risking blisters at the curb.

A hairdryer on cool can finish a nearly dry pair if you are careful.
