CMB operates 24/7 with several safe late-night transfer options. RECOMMENDED: pre-book PickMe or Uber before landing (they wait — apps work airside). Also: official airport taxi counter (fixed rates, safe), and hotel-arranged transfers (2500-4500 LKR). Roads to Colombo well-lit, safe at 2AM.

Avoid: unmarked touts approaching you in arrivals hall (usually overcharge). If PickMe/Uber shows delays at that hour, use the official airport taxi. Keep hotel address written down, small notes for tip.
