Anuradhapura bodhi terrace Monday — shoulders and a sit, or are we walking into a white-cloth rule we will fail

Ordinary travelers, one pair of covered shoulders in the bag. Partner in a tank. I do not want a steward argument. 31 Aug, not a poya panic unless it is.

Cover shoulders, shoes off where marked, sit quietly. It is a working terrace, not a costume shop. If you lack a cover, buy a cheap shawl at the lane, do not invent a 'foreigners banned' story. Town is open.

We bought a 200-rupee cover, sat. Fine. Tank top stayed in the bag.

White is respectful, not a ticket. Pride in a football shirt getting waved off is avoidable.

Do the archaeological sites after, in hats, with water. Heat is the actual clock.
