Card works at the guesthouse. Need cash for a bicycle and fruit. New-town machine versus a rumour of one near the museums. North-Central Caution later. We can queue in the shade.

New-town machine first. Sacred city is not an ATM hunt. If it is empty, the next town-side machine, not a cousin with a POS. Queue is a queue, not a cash shutdown. Heat builds later; 6am line is ordinary.

We used new-town. Fine. Museum-side rumour wasted 40 minutes Tuesday.

Keep a spare card. One machine eating a card is a bank problem, not Met.
