Immediate coping: 4-7-8 breathing (in 4, hold 7, out 8), find quiet space, hydrate, ground yourself (name 5 things you see). Call a friend/family video. Rescue meds if prescribed (lorazepam etc). Most attacks pass within 20-40 min. Rarely dangerous but unpleasant.

Prevention: sleep hygiene, moderate caffeine, don't over-schedule, avoid excessive alcohol. Recognize triggers: heat, dehydration, crowds. If frequent, seek in-country psychiatric consultation. Video therapy (BetterHelp) accessible in Sri Lanka. Insurance often covers a portion.
