Staying near Nugegoda. Do not want to blunder into a private or funeral-related gathering with cameras out. Anything we should politely give a wide berth today.

If you see crowds in formal white, flower vans, or blocked side streets near homes/temples, walk around - do not film. Farewell days deserve space.

Ask your guesthouse once. Locals will tell you which junction to skip without a speech.

Tourist curiosity is fine on the main road; lingering at gate crowds is not. Keep moving and keep lenses down.
