The Sea Turtle Farm and Hatchery in Mahamodara, just outside Galle, offers an excellent, highly rated cooking class. You learn to cook traditional curries while supporting a good conservation cause.

Another fantastic option is the Wasantha Cooking Class located deep inside the Galle Fort. It is a very intimate, hands on experience in a local family kitchen.
