Are there still power cuts or infrastructure issues affecting tourists in 2026?
I saw old news about power cuts. Is this still a concern for travelers this year?

The situation has improved significantly since the 2022 crisis. Power cuts are now rare and usually very short (a few hours at most, and not frequent). Tourist areas and hotels almost always have backup generators or inverters. WiFi and mobile data are generally reliable in populated areas. You might experience occasional brief outages, but it's no longer a major planning concern for most travelers. Rural areas can be more affected.
Most good guesthouses and hotels have solar or generators now. You might notice it more in smaller places or if you're working online at night. It's manageable.
