Arriving around 6 PM - any free curb left off the main ring
We only get there around 6 PM for First Randoli. Is any free curb still left on a side street off the main ring, or is standing-room already shoulder-to-shoulder. Not asking about Cross or Kotugodella at 5, and not Dalada fill after 3.

By 6 PM the densest gallery corners are usually packed. Side streets one block off the ring still have thin standing gaps if you claim quickly and stay patient. Do not expect a front-row view that late.
Follow where locals are still walking in rather than forcing the tourist crush. A slightly worse angle with room to stand beats a locked shoulder wall.
If your Grab dumps you two blocks out, walk toward the quieter curb first — do not circle looking for a closer drop.
