In Kandy now. Wondering if Arugam Bay this week is still worth the cross-island hop for east-coast surf season, or if we should save the long transfer for a longer stay later.

Worth it if you have at least a couple of nights there. A same-day taste-and-back from Kandy is a miserable transfer-to-surf ratio.
