Arugam Bay tourist terrace versus a bakery two lanes in — sit the pretty table or walk — this Monday morning after leftover rain

Need a sit at Arugam Bay. Tourist terrace looks dry and priced like Colombo. Bakery two lanes in has a queue of locals and plastic chairs. Not trying to be cheap for sport. Trying not to be the rude table. Monday 31 Aug, leftover humidity. This Monday morning after leftover rain. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Walk two lanes. The terrace is a pretty courtyard with tourist prices. Nobody is scamming you; they are just pricing for the terrace. A bakery bun and tea is the ordinary sit. If you want the courtyard photo, have one drink and leave. Do not camp a four-top for email. If the kid is melting now, pay the soda, ten minutes, move. Shade is the need, not the brand.

We took the quieter fork at Arugam Bay. Fine. No one clapped.

We kept the kid knee-deep and sat. Fine. The bar wanted a second round more than a safe bay.

Town desk, passport, queue. Beach stalls remix packs.
