Arugam night — wind on the lagoon already, is there a marine bulletin yet or are we inventing Amber at 1am
Pottuvil room, 00:55. Palms are loud. Partner saw a 2024 screenshot of an Amber for this coast and wants to cancel a 6am surf check. I have not seen today's marine note. Not asking for wave heights you do not have. Asking whether 1 Sep already published something.

Not at 1am. Marine Bulletin 01 if it comes today is a late-morning note, not a midnight colour. Wind on Pottuvil-Arugam is ordinary September. Do not invent Amber, do not invent inundation, do not invent a west-coast all-clear while you are at it. Sleep. Check flags and the actual note after breakfast. If the sea is ugly at dawn, sit. The lagoon will still be there.
We walked the beach at 6 last September in wind. Surf shops knew more than WhatsApp. Fine.
Pride colours the palms Amber and then cannot sleep. Flags in daylight.
Hambantota to Pottuvil is the stretch people fuss over when a note does exist. Wait for the note.
