We have big bills but need small notes for stalls near the temple. Use an ATM nearby mid-morning, or break notes at a shop. Not ATM cash for reserved Second Randoli tickets, and not hotel-desk versus bank FX.

Try breaking a big note at a busy shop or restaurant after a small purchase first. ATMs nearby can have queues and mixed denominations. Avoid flashing a thick stack at a quiet stall.
