Opening is kinder. Metal and granite cook. Pay the booth board; a WhatsApp screenshot is not a tariff I will invent. Water, hat, turn around. I will not invent a shade hour.

Leave a buffer. Agree the fare before you sit. Do not cut it to twenty minutes at Sigiriya ticketing porch and then argue in a jam.

If it is steaming at porch, sit. If not, pack fruit and walk to Pidurangala. Biscuits in the bag anyway. The wait is the hungry part.
