Avissawella after lunch. It is starting to spit. Sit a covered shop until it passes, or keep the hop going.

Keep the hop if the bus is already there. A covered shop is the backup when you have time to kill, not when a seat is waiting. Spit on this stretch is ordinary.

We sat one tea, then the next bus. The spit had not stopped. Going earlier would have been the same weather.

If bags are already on a tuk, go. Do not unload for a shop roof that will still be wet when you leave.
