Internal oleation relies on daily escalating dosages of warm medicated ghee (such as Sukumara Ghrita or Indukantha Ghrita) taken at dawn on an empty stomach. The clinical saturation endpoint (Samyak Snigdha Lakshana) is identified when the patient exhibits: unctuous and loose bowel movements displaying visible oily sheen, downward movement of vata, soft and lustrous skin texture, aversion to fatty foods, and complete digestion of the previous dose within 12 hours. Pushing beyond this state risks creating ama toxic stagnation.

Patients must drink strictly warm boiled water throughout the day; cold water intake immediately causes lipid solidification and severe digestive colic.

Diet during internal oleation is restricted to warm rice gruel (yavagu) prepared without added salt, coconut cream, or chilies to prevent liver strain.

Complete physical and sensory rest is mandatory; engaging in beach surfing or mountain trekking while undergoing internal oleation can trigger acute exhaustion.
