Baddegama. Saturday evening. A shop is still plating and we have a Sunday inland hop. Sit a plate here tonight, or save it and eat on the hop.

Sit if you are empty. Sunday inland is easier with a real plate behind you. If the tray is already thin, take two parcels for the morning hop. Do not lose Sunday for a slow dinner hunt.

We sat one plate and slept. Boarded Sunday. Fine. The skip-dinner lot were hunting buns at the stand.

If the next inland is a long gap, sit. Ten minutes and a real plate beats a dry bun on a standing hop.
