Two big cases off the evening train. Procession already occupying inner streets. Cloak at the station, or haul them through to the hotel first.

Cloak or leave them at a station-side desk if the hotel will send a runner later. Hauling cases through a moving line is how you never see a stretch.

We hauled one backpack each and left the hard cases. Hotel sent a staffer once a two-way road was named.

If there is no cloak, take a tuk on Gopallawa to the hotel, dump bags, then walk back out. Do not roll cases along the curb.
