We are out of the room. Bags are in the lobby. Desk says they can watch them. Take them to lunch anyway, or leave them and walk lighter.

Leave them. Get a tag and a name. Dragging cases into a rice shop at noon is how you eat in the doorway. Desk holds are ordinary after a noon out.

We left them. Ate two streets over. Came back for the tuk. Fine. Taking them would have been grim.

If the desk shrugs, take them. A shrug is not a hold. Write the tag yourself if they say yes.
