Bags we should have dumped, now walking Dalada Veediya shop lip

28 Aug after the last Randoli drums. Streets are leftover, not a restart. Two hard-shells at Dalada Veediya shop lip. I will not invent a Saturday Kandy cortege. Need a walk-out that does not argue with cones. I want the grown-up fork, not the pride fork.

Walk out of the cones to a bigger road, then a tuk. Do not PickMe from the kerb. Leftover is leftover. There is no Saturday restart. Tea, then the room. Lived pin: Dalada Veediya shop lip.

Fort cobbles still slick. Waited until they were dull. No sprain.

Paid the short hop with a kid. Pride would still be bargaining in leftover drizzle.

Rice was still steaming two streets off. First grill was tired oil.
