People keep saying the white Buddha is the other Kandy photo. Second Kumbal listed 6:41. After drums, is a night climb still a look, or is that a staircase argument with tired legs. We can do morning.

Save it for morning. Night stairs after drums is how people twist ankles. Morning is fewer touts and you can actually see the valley.

If you insist on tonight, tuk to the bottom, walk the last steps slowly, do not hunt a night photo with a flash at the statue.

Elder in our group tried it after first Kumbal. We turned around at the first dark landing. Morning was fine.
