27 Aug, Bambalapitiya, just two of us. East is drier. We can sleep sitting, maybe. Need a local, not a brochure.

Night bus if you sleep sitting. Split van at dawn if you cannot. East is the drier seat this month, still not a guarantee. I will not invent a fee. Shoulders and knees.

We skipped the boat. Harbour was a pitch, not a promise. Bambalapitiya was the pin.
