Ella is loud and pretty. Bandarawela looks like a town. Second night, move, or stay Ella because we already know the walk.

Move if you want a town that is a town. Bandarawela has rooms, a market, fewer cafe speakers. Ella is the postcard street. Both are hill nights. Budget is similar if you skip the view rooms. I would move if Ella already gave you the Gap and the arch.
