Bay at Pasikudah bay on 21 Aug after leftover chop — go in or sit the sand toward Kalkudah

21 Aug, camera bag, phone only, tripod stays packed. Leftover swell from the last few days. Kid already eyeing the shallows. I want a local, not a cocktail.

Stay where you can stand. Shallow bay; toddler knee-deep, no inflatables past the first break. Leftover chop is ordinary August sea, not a brochure. No inflatables past the first break. I will not invent an official warning colour.

We took the quieter fork toward Kalkudah. Fine. No one clapped.

Elder move: plate, shade, then decide. Pasikudah bay will still be there. Shade before pride.

Kids: leave when they melt. Pride turns bay into a timetable.
