Need a mid-west beach reset after the hills. Is Bentota or Kalutara the smarter short stop this week if we want sleep and a swim more than a busy strip.

Kalutara is usually the quieter reset if sleep matters. Bentota has more water-sport energy and weekend day-trip noise.

Bentota works if you want a river safari half-day plus beach. For pure recovery, ask for a room set back from the main road.
