River looks brown and busy. Desk says 'very nice sir'. Leftover SW drips. Kid. I do not want a soaked tantrum for a mangrove photo.

If it is dripping, sit. The river will be there at 11. Bentota is not closed. A wet boat with a kid is a mood, not a memory. Agree the fare only if the rain actually pauses.

We waited, went at noon, still brown, still a river. Fine. Morning would have been plastic ponchos and a fight.

Mangroves are trees. Pride needs a 'tour' stamp and pays for rain in the eyes.
