Go now. Waiting until it warms just puts you on the water in the stickier part of the day. Cloud is shade. That is the better slot.

We went. Quiet river, grey sky. Better than sitting until noon and then complaining it was hot.

If kids are still slow, wait an hour and take the shorter loop. Do not cancel just because it is cloudy.
