Traveling with kids who tolerate boats better than long beach heat. Is a Bentota river safari worth half a day, or should we just do shade and swim at the hotel.

Beach-only wins only if kids are already boat-sick or the afternoon looks stormy. Otherwise the river is the cooler memory.
