Top pick: 98 Acres Resort - infinity pool with Ella Gap and Little Adam's Peak view, chalets with private terraces. Request 'Superior' or 'Deluxe' chalet with valley-facing terrace. Also excellent: EKHO Ella (renovated 2024, panoramic terrace suites), Chamodya Homestay (budget-friendly with amazing views), Ravana Heights (hillside boutique). For 98 Acres specifically request 'Cottage 4-10' range which has the best angle.

For a nicer Ella experience combine 98 Acres with a walking tour of Little Adam's Peak at sunrise - hotel arranges packed breakfast. Book direct via their website for often better rates than Booking.com.
