Trinco Blu by Cinnamon in Uppuveli is an excellent high end resort. It has a beautiful pool area, luxurious rooms, and opens up directly onto a pristine stretch of sandy beach.

If you want to stay further north in Nilaveli, the Nilaveli Beach Resort offers fantastic luxury beachfront cabanas and organizes private snorkeling trips to Pigeon Island for its guests.
