21 Aug, one dumped suitcase at the room, daypacks for the pin. Group chat sold us a seat that was a rumour. Bags. We can wait.

Ask the board twice. Pins work better off the flood kerb; agree a number. A group chat is not a timetable. I will not invent a 21 Aug departure. If the reserved board is empty, take the van that is filling.

Come early or be honest. Arriving at a listed start owns a shoulder view. 6:40 is listed, not a promise the first elephant is on the kerb.

We waited at pin, then walked toward Galle Face. Fine. The first quote was a speech. Pins work better off the flood kerb; agree a number.
