boat desk at Pigeon Island boat desk on 21 Aug after leftover chop — go in or sit the sand toward Nilaveli — 21 Aug lived pin
21 Aug, two of us, daypacks, no balcony budget. Leftover swell from the last few days. Kid already eyeing the shallows. I want a local, not a cocktail.

Stay where you can stand. Ask the desk; I will not invent a 21 Aug island closure or a snorkel guarantee. Leftover chop is ordinary August sea, not a brochure. No inflatables past the first break. I will not invent an official warning colour.
Try the shorter machine first. Queues are queues, not a shutdown I will invent. If both fail, town toward Nilaveli, not a cousin POS.
One pin. Be down before you pretend you also have the second. Water, jumper, turn around. Pride stacks two climbs.
